As part of our well-being work this a weekly lunch and social club enables older residents to gather for a hot meal, enjoy companionship, and partake in various activities. A two course lunch is served around 12.30pm, prepared on the premises.

This is one of our most cherished initiatives with a long-standing tradition over the last twenty years of providing not just nourishment but also a vital social outlet for those at risk of isolation and loneliness.

Our programme of activities has sing a long entertainers, crafts,  planting flowers, gentle sit-down exercises with games and bingo regularly played. The club runs alongside our Advice, information and Care Service and Food Bank. .

Care is taken to ensure sure that all club members receive a well balanced nutritious meal consisting of fresh vegetables and fresh meat that is delivered each week from the butchers. We also cater for vegetarians and special dietary needs.

Refreshments are provided consisting of tea or coffee and biscuits. Fresh Fruit platters are provided throughout the day.
